RV Park / Campground Rules

Already made a campground reservation? Understanding the rules and regulations for operating and parking your vehicle at our facility is important. Some of the rules include the following:

  • This year we offer online reservations! Walk-ins are still welcome!

  • We are not liable for any risk associated with your parked RV or other vehicles on your site.

  • Our facility is a rural RV park/campground. So, expect wildlife and mitigate problems by attending to your pets and keeping your food secure.

  • Our facility is clean and neat. Help us keep it that way by keeping your site clean and using the trash cans available around the RV park.

  • We are a pet friendly facility. We expect owners to keep their animals leashed and pick up after them. If you have your pet in a tent, GCC is not liable for damage done to your camping gear nor lost pets

  • Our facility is incredibly private. Therefore, respect the privacy of other campers by not walking through their campsite.

  • We will provide firewood for a cost. So please, do not cut our trees.

  • No open grey water dumping. Grey and black water tanks can be emptied at the dump station behind the gas station at the motel. None of our sites provide sewer hook-ups. Water and electric hook-ups only.

  • TENT CAMPERS- Please be good stewards of our campground and Pack Out What You Pack In- meaning following the NO TRACE rules (since we are a National Historical Site) “Areas such as [these caverns] have leave no trace requirements and do not permit you to dig a hole and require that you pack out your poop.” Therefore, please no urinating or defecating at tent sites. We have a porta-potty set up for the Tent Hill sites and a bathhouse near the old tent sites.
