Horse riding and Cowboy experiences

A-Cowboys-Way-Ranch-LogoHorseback riding by the hour, wagon rides, overnight rides, and you can even be part of a real cattle drive, are some of the adventures being offered by the Grand Canyon Caverns in partner with our neighbor ‘A Cowboy’s Way Ranch’. Guests visiting and/or staying at the Grand Canyon Caverns can learn more and book these tours at our Curio Gift shop in the main Caverns building or by calling 928-422-3223 Ext 2.

Here are some of the tours being offered:

Horseback and Wagon Rides:

  • 40.00 per person, per an hour
  • 2 Person minimum *

Overnight Rides:

  • 175.00 per person, per night
  • 2 Person minimum *
  • Ride in the afternoon to the cowboy camp, setup camp, ride to the Cavern’s Restaurant for dinner (at the guests cost), ride back to the camp to spend the night with a fire and sleep on the bed rolls under the stars. Enjoy a cast iron breakfast cooked by the cowboy(s).

Cattle Drives:

  • 990.00 per person for 1 day
  • 1490.00 per person for 2 day
  • 2 Person minimum *
  • Ride with the team for 1 or 2 days pushing cattle, sleeping under the stars in a bed roll, eating cast iron meals from a real chuck wagon, and sitting around the campfire telling stories. An experience for the true Cowboy at heart. All meals included. Horseback or wagon ride options available.

Multi-Day Trips Without Sleeping Outside:

  • Book a room at the Grand Canyon Caverns.
  • Enjoy a full day playing cowboy, return to the motel room to shower and sleep, continue the cowboy adventure the next morning…
  • Horseback riding, wagon rides, and cattle drives available.

All activities by appointment only.

Proper attire required:
– Closed toed shoes required, boots recommended. NO FLIP FLOPS.
– Long pants. NO SHORTS.
– T-shirt accepted, long sleeves recommended. NO HALTER TOPS
– Hat and sunscreen strongly recommended.

* 1 person is available but will pay the full price of two.
